Our proposals

A solar farm capable of generating up to 300 megawatts (MW) of clean power –  enough to power approximately 81,000 homes, or almost all of the households in South Derbyshire combined

A connection – either underground or overhead line – to the electricity transmission network at Willington East 400 kV Substation

Associated infrastructure such as access roads and construction compounds

Works such as new wildlife habitat and tree planting to maintain and improve the surrounding natural environment, leading to a net gain in local biodiversity

A Legacy Fund that would provide financial contributions to local projects, ensuring that those living locally benefit from our plans
